Shemariah Ellis and Corey Purdue also won scholarships to attend UMass Amherst’s two week summer jazz workshop, “Jazz in July”.
At the State level, MHS Jazz Ensemble achieved a SILVER MEDAL! Outstanding Musicianship Award recipient Jim McCarthy, baritone saxophone.
