 Festival Highlights

Sunday, April 19th—All performing groups are participating in workshops today.  At this morning’s Band Workshop, students learned an instrumental piece from the Disney movie Tarzan.  At the end of the 2 hour session, the students were recorded and their performance was super-imposed onto the Tarzan movie.  Students were then able to watch the Tarzan movie and hear their contribution to the film!

Saturday, April 18th  -

Everyone is having fun!  All the kids have had a chance to perform and they all did great!  Student behavior has been awesome, too!
They went to Hollywood studios today and some of the kids tried out at  the "American Idol experience".  Ronnie Vorce did well and was an  alternate in the show.  Ms. Phypers was in the show and won!  She  had a chance to go back again, but they had to leave to go to the  awards ceremony at EPCOT tonight.
