Fundraising

Hebert Candy Bars are available to sell throughout the year.   Half of the sales are applied to your student account.  Contact Dom Studer at 508-460-9826.

Additional fundraising opportunities for the 2009—2010 school year will be available soon.    Fundraising is important to all music students.  More information is available here.

Why Fund Raise?

When a student first enrolls in a performing music class at MHS (8th grade Chorus, Concert Band, String Ensemble, etc....), the MPS Music Association automatically sets up a Student Account for that student.  This Account is managed by the MPS Music Association.

The purpose of the Account is to save funds for Music Festivals (i.e., Competitions) that the eligible ensembles anticipate attending every other school year.    These bi-annual out-of-state trips are not funded by Marlborough High School, so each student planning to attend is responsible for fundraising or paying out of pocket.

MPSMA does its best to help students raise money for these trips by holding several fundraising events every year (whether or not it is a trip year).  Many students in the past have done enough fundraising to pay for their entire trip with the money in their Student Account.

We encourage all MHS music students to take advantage of these fundraising opportunities.

Spring Concert Ad Book Fundraiser ends April 14th.

The Spring Pops Concert Program book is a great way to earn money for your student account.  Students receive half the cost of an ad placed by local businesses.  Please click here for general information about how the ad book program works.
